Directions

 

From the North:
Take I-91 South to exit 18. Turn right onto Route 5 South. After approximately three (3) miles, turn right (at the “Welcome to Easthampton” sign) on East Street. Stay on East Street for approximately 3 miles and take a right on Clark Street. Follow Clark Street to the end and bear right on Route 141/Cottage Street. White Square Books is about two blocks down on the left.

 

From the South:
Take I-91 North to exit 17B toward Route 141 West / Easthampton. Drive for approximately seven (7) miles on Route 141 over Mount Tom and down into Easthampton. The street will bear left and turn into Cottage Street.  White Square Books is about two blocks down on the left. Note: during bad weather in winter, the steep road coming down over Mount Tom is sometimes closed.  If roads appear slippery, we suggest that you proceed to Exit 18 and follow the directions under “From the North.”
 

From Northampton:
Take Route 10 South to Easthampton for approximately five miles. At the rotary, bear right towards the traffic light.  Get in the left lane and turn left on Union Street. At the next traffic light near Nashawannuck Pond bear left on Cottage Street.  White Square Books is about three blocks down on the right.

 

Parking:  There is a free public parking lot directly across from the bookstore plus free parking on Cottage Street and the side streets. Please be prepared -- parking is a challenge at certain times of day.
